Information Technology and Robotics is a series of six books specifically written for pupils in primary schools. The books introduce pupils to the fundamentals of information technology and robotics. Pupils begin by learning what a computer is, its parts and uses and become familiar with the operations of a computer. The books further explain the features of parts of a computer. The history of computer is also treated to enable the pupils know the landmarks in the transition of early calculating devices to present-day computers. Pupils get to know the different components of a computer, starting from the hardware components to the software components. They also get to identify common information technology gadgets, their classifications and uses.
