Description
Horizons Quantitative Reasoning for Primary Schools Books 1-6 is a series of hands-on workbooks on general quantitative skills, i.e. handling numbers and mathematical operations accurately. It is designed to help pupils understand and explore the world of calculation, logic and quantitative reasoning through practical questions. The textbooks follow the Mathematics curriculum as dictated by the Nigerian Education Research Development Council (NERDC)/Universal Basic Education (UBE).
The books comprise numerous questions for practice that include number and numeration, basic operations, algebraic processes, measurement, geometry and statistics. Each unit is presented in a way that help the pupils develop their problem-solving skills as they progress in their studies. Answers to exercises are provided at the last page of the book.
